Position Overview

A well-established and forward-thinking construction firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its growing team. This leadership role is central to the successful execution of complex construction projects, requiring advanced project management capabilities, exceptional client relationship skills, and strong team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple construction projects from pre-construction to final completion
• Mentor and support junior project managers and project team members
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients and foster long-term relationships
• Implement effective project management strategies to enhance performance and efficiency
• Manage budgets, timelines, and quality standards across projects
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers
• Resolve high-level project challenges with autonomy and professionalism
• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders
• Partner with estimating teams during the preconstruction phase
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality control standards
• Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal development and presentations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management
• Deep understanding of construction processes, techniques, and industry standards
• Demonstrated success managing multiple large-scale projects
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with project management platforms, Microsoft Office, and industry tools
• Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative mindset
