Job Description

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed for a contract position serving students in grades Pre-K through 12 at a K-12 school located in Elizabeth, NJ. This role will be a part of a billing client contract and offers the opportunity to work in multiple school settings within close proximity.

Position Details:

2 SLP positions available:
One SLP for both the Extended School Year (ESY) and the normal school year (NSY)
One SLP for ESY only
Program dates for ESY: July 131, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Services will be delivered across three school buildings (elementary, middle, and high school), all located within one mile of each other
Caseload of approximately 35 students per therapist with individual and small group therapy sessions

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Experience working with students in a K-12 setting, including preschool through high school
Ability to manage a caseload with diverse needs across multiple buildings
Strong organizational and time management skills for scheduling individual and group sessions
Familiarity with educational therapy documentation and billing procedures

Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language therapy to students with a range of communication needs
Collaborate with case managers, special educators, and administration to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with program requirements
Participate in planning sessions to ensure seamless service delivery across multiple sites
