Job Title: Machine Learning Intern
Status: Internship - Non-Exempt – Full Time
Location: Coeur d’Alene, ID - In-person internship
Duration: 3-month with option to extend.
The commercial operations team at Lakeside Companies is seeking a Social Media Intern to assist in executing digital marketing strategies across multiple platforms. We’re looking for an upbeat, joyful individual who loves connecting with people through social media and brand storytelling. This intern will play a key role in helping our homebuilding business (Architerra), our rental business (Echelon Property Management), and other portfolio companies connect with audiences, educate the community, and share the excitement of our brands online through community engagement and digital interaction.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Plan, create, and publish content for social media platforms
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and engagement opportunities
• Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, growth, and impressions
• Maintain a content calendar and collaborate with design and marketing teams
• Analyze and report on post-performance, audience trends, and social media insights
• Stay current on social platform trends and recommend strategies to enhance Lakeside’s digital presence
Requirements
• Current enrollment or just completed enrollment in BS, BA, BBS, or equivalent program focused on marketing, communications, or social media
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Proficient in Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and related tools (Meta Business Suite, Canva, Buffer, etc.)
• Creative eye for design and brand storytelling
