Our team is at the forefront of building core capabilities and shared infrastructure to detect risk to a customer’s product quality experience at our stores and build preventative measures to mitigate it, and do so while delivering a positive selling partner experience and being operationally efficient.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager-Tech to lead the efforts in reshaping our risk detection domain and define the vision and technical direction that allows us to consume multimodal signals from direct feedback from our customers to product impacts and comprehend these signals to assess product quality risk. In this role, you will get the opportunity to directly impact the customer’s shopping experience on our stores. You will work closely with senior stakeholders from business, product, science, engineering, and finance to define problems, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that meet customer needs. You will help influence the direction of critical products and initiatives, driving changes in some of the most innovative domains within Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
•\tDevelop a thorough understanding of drivers that impact a customer’s product quality experience when shopping at Amazon and build the framework to classify these drivers in a simple and well-structured manner to support optimal downstream actions
•\tIdentify signals across order fulfillment cycle that can indicate risk to the customers product quality experience and define the 3-5 year vision that allows for the detection, consumption and comprehension of these signals to assess the magnitude and severity of customer risk/impact
•\tBuild the technical solution that accelerates iterative improvements through easy experimentation, supports transparency for effortless deep dives, and enables robust testing/validation and impact assessment. The technical solution should promote simplicity, be scalable and reusable beyond Product Quality and account for the developing landscape of Generative AI as well as the organization’s long-term needs
•\tCollaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions such as business, science, engineering, and finance in developing the vision and effectively communicate the direction to senior leaders to drive alignment and prioritization
•\tDevelop product plans that have clear measurable success criteria and own the mechanisms to effectively communicate any variance in the product KPIs as well as updating stakeholders of the progress against the roadmap
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
- Experience in development and application of Generative AI based solutions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
