Staff Accounting / Analyst - $70K - Swarthmore, PA (Hybrid)

Growing, venture-backed company looking for an early-career Staff Accountant to join a 2-person finance team. You’ll work directly with the VP of Finance as his right hand while the finance function is actively being built and automated. This is not a highly structured role. If you’re comfortable figuring things out, building processes, and growing beyond traditional accounting, this is a unique opportunity.

Responsibilities – Staff Accountant

• Handle core accounting work (journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close)
• Support AP/AR, invoicing, and cash management
• Work across systems like NetSuite, and Power BI to improve data and automation
• Help document and streamline processes as the company scales
• Grow into KPI reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis over time

Requirements – Staff Accountant

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong accounting fundamentals
• Interest in systems, automation, and analytics
• Solid Excel/Sheets skills
• Self-starter who doesn’t need an instruction manual
