Position Summary Responsible for evaluating and treating patients within the WashU Eye Center. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Evaluates and treats patients including refractive exams, contact lens fitting and dispensing, emergency exams, and evaluation of medical eye diseases. Discusses and interprets findings with patients and recommends appropriate remedies. Adheres to compliance guidelines, including proper coding of services and diagnoses. Follows quality, safety, and hazardous material procedures. Performs other duties as assigned by the director of ophthalmology.
