Job Description
Come join our vibrant and welcoming Starbucks team! We are seeking a Full-Time candidate with the availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Starting wage for this position is $13.25 per hour, plus tips, averaging $18+ per hour.
Some of the main duties you're responsible for:
- Provide a great customer experience to exceed Starbucks Standards
- Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, taking orders, and answering questions with enthusiasm
- Operate espresso machines, blenders, and other equipment skillfully, ensuring precise measurements and optimal taste
- Prepare and serve coffees, espresso drinks, teas, and other specialty drinks
- Prepare and serve hot breakfast items, including baked goods
- Stock supplies, including merchandise, and keep the store clean and presentable
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and proper food handling practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, assisting with tasks as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with Starbucks product knowledge, promotions and new offerings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred, but not essential. We are willing to train individuals who are passionate about coffee and eager to learn
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A positive and friendly attitude
