\nRN - Med Surg Neuro
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Weekend night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Weekend schedule includes Friday, Saturday, Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday, Monday
\n• Work on 6 West Neuro unit with 20 beds (14 floor beds)
\n• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 for floor patients
\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (must be in hand at time of submission)
\n• ACLS preferred
\n• Must have strong neuro experience and proficiency with G-tubes
\n• Recent EPIC experience required
\n• BSN not required
\n• Care for patients with neurosciences conditions, DBS (Deep Brain Stimulators), stroke, seizures, surgical/post-op spines, and neurological disorders
\n• Telemetry monitoring available with monitor techs reading strips
\n• RT available 24/7 for floor vents and respiratory equipment
\n• May titrate drips per physician orders including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, dopamine, and others
\n• Floating possible to other units including 7E, 7W, 7NE, or 10E
\n• Holiday rotation required
\n• Unit orientation: 1 shift
\n• Dress code: Any combination of white and royal blue
\n• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
\n• Any background hits must be disclosed at time of submission
