Job Description:
This role is for a Registered Nurse - Case Manager . The position involves case management and utilization review within acute hospital settings. Responsibilities include discharge planning, care coordination, prior authorizations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates must have minimum 2 years of experience and prior charge experience is required.

Key duties:

• Conduct admission criteria assessments, appeals, and denials.
• Manage benefits eligibility, care coordination, and determine medical necessity per evidence-based guidelines.
• Oversee discharge planning, needs assessment, DME orders, and plan of care.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, CPT, DRG, HEDIS, HIPAA, ICD-10, OSHA, NCQA, Joint Commission, and Worker’s Compensation guidelines.
• Work with adult patient populations across specialties including ICU, MS, PICU, SDU/PCU/IMC/Obs, surgical, women’s services, and ER.

System & Tools:

• Charting System: EPIC ?
• Travel Experience: Required 

Certifications:

• BLS (required) 

Rates & Details:

• Base Bill Rate: $89/hr
• Charge Nurse: $5/hr
• On Call: $7.50/hr
• Overtime (40 hrs/week): 1.25x
• Holiday: 1.25x
• Orientation: 16 hrs non-billable

Job Requirements:

• Previous charge experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience
• EPIC charting required
• ICU, MS, PICU, SDU, PCU, IMC, Obs experience preferred
• Travel experience required

Weekly Breakdown:
Weekly Gross: $2,747.00 Per Week
