Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Location: Colorado (specific facility not listed)
Shift: 7-on/7-off Nights | 10-hour shifts
Contract Length: 13 weeks (91 days)
Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours/week
Billing String: Medefis
Position Urgency: Normal

 🧾 Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medication orders accurately
• Maintain med stock in patient care areas
• Ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy
• Interpret orders, compound meds, and perform IV admixtures
• Handle controlled substances per legal requirements
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for:
  • Allergies
  • Interactions (drug-drug, drug-food)
  • Contraindications and dose appropriateness
• Pharmacokinetic drug dosing
• Interpret C&S data , suggest antibiotic adjustments
• Detect/report adverse drug reactions
• Promote formulary adherence and therapeutic substitutions
• Offer clinical consultation to providers
• Provide drug info to patients and families
• Accurately document interventions and clinical activities
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Train and educate staff as needed
• Serve as a member of the Code Response Team

🎓 Required Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
  • BS Pharmacy degree required
• Licensure:
  • Active Colorado PHA License (in good standing)
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA) – required
  • ACLS (AHA) – required
• Experience:
  • Prior hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience strongly preferred
  • Must be able and willing to work night shift 7-on/7-off
• Flu Vaccine:
  • REQUIRED (No exemptions accepted) — valid Oct 1 to Apr 1

🚫 Radius Rule:

• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility
