\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 13-week assignment with 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required with previous charge and teaching hospital experience preferred
\n• 8 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
\n• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Must be experienced in MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
\n• Skills include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac procedures, IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, PICC management, heparin protocols, cardiac drips, PCA, respiratory care including chest tubes and tracheostomy management
\n• Regular floating required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
\n• Must hold both Kansas and Missouri nursing licenses or compact license
\n• No on-call requirements
\n• Local candidates not accepted (must live 75+ miles from facility)
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
\n• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
\n• 12 hours orientation required
\n• Epic charting system experience preferred

\nThis healthcare organization operates a 31-bed Progressive Care Unit providing intermediate-level care for adult and geriatric patients. The facility features comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic electronic health records system for documentation and patient management.
