\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Every other weekend required (Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift)
\n• Holiday rotation required for Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years
\n• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5 for telemetry patients
\n• 20-bed unit with all private rooms on 2nd floor
\n• Care for telemetry patients, post catheterization patients, medical/surgical with telemetry monitoring needs, and respiratory difficulty cases
\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
\n• 5 years RN experience required with at least 1+ year of travel experience
\n• EPIC charting system experience preferred
\n• Perform point of care blood sugar testing using AccuChek glucometer
\n• Place IVs and draw labs from central lines when ordered
\n• Understanding and comfort with basic dysrhythmia interpretation required
\n• May float to comparable or lower level units (telemetry or med/surg)
\n• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs (nurse provides their own)
\n• Valid driver's license required with address outside 50 miles from facility
\n• 3-shift orientation process with first day education modules and shadowing
\n• No on-call responsibilities
\n• Self-scheduling available for travelers
\n• Call offs must be reported 2 hours prior to shift start
