Job Description

Buyers Products company, a leading manufacturer in the Work Truck Industry, is searching for a Mechanical Engineering Intern . We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support our engineering team during the summer of 2025. This role is ideal for a student who is excited to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain exposure to product development, testing, and manufacturing processes.

Primary Job Duties:

• Support Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts and perform engineering calculations and document results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality.
• Participate in design reviews and team meetings.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.

Skills/ Education:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Completed at least sophomore year by Summer 2025
• Basic understanding of engineering principles, thermodynamics, mechanics, and materials
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Mobility and dexterity to move around office settings including accessing file cabinets or storage and navigating to different workstations.
• Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods of time and engage in some repetitive motion.
• Standing, walking and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Mobility and dexterity to move around operating machinery and powered industrial equipment
