About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Global Supply Chain to play a pivotal role in the strategic and hands-on leadership of the global supply chain, particularly in the context of late-stage development and commercialization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global supply chain strategy, ensuring the timely supply of clinical trial materials, and leading commercial launch planning and product distribution on a global scale. This role also involves managing relationships with external manufacturers, overseeing tech transfers, and scale-up for commercial production, as well as leading demand forecasting, inventory planning, and global logistics. Compliance with global regulatory standards and the identification and mitigation of supply chain risks are also key aspects of the position. Applicants for the Vice President, Global Supply Chain role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with an MBA preferred, and at least 18 years of supply chain leadership experience in small molecule pharma, encompassing both clinical and commercial supply. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GMP, GDP, and global regulatory requirements, as well as a proven track record in managing outsourced manufacturing and global CDMO networks. Familiarity with ERP systems and compliance tools is essential, and experience in oncology supply chains and global product launches is a plus. The role requires excellent leadership and collaboration skills across various functions, and a focus on driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within a high-performing global supply chain team.
