We are a newly launched nonprofit organization dedicated to navigating the potential disruptions AI is bringing to work, income, and economic stability. We don’t just study the future of employment and income—we shape it. Through research, convenings, public engagement, and policy innovation, we develop actionable solutions that protect workers, equip industries, and influence policymakers. As we build momentum in our startup phase, we are seeking highly motivated, reliable, and proactive volunteers ("Fellows") to support our work across key areas, including communications, research, fundraising, and digital engagement. This is a remote position, but volunteers will have weekly meetings with the Managing Director (and sometimes the Founder) to coordinate, strategize, and provide updates. We are thinking that the time involved will be around 10-15 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Develop engaging content for social media, newsletters, and blog posts. Assist in managing the Bridge Era Institute’s LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram presence. Support email marketing and outreach campaigns. Create visually compelling content, including social media graphics, reports, and presentations. Who Should Apply? We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including students, recent graduates, and professionals looking to contribute their skills to a mission-driven organization. Ideal candidates should: Be self-starters with strong initiative and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Be highly reliable and consistent, with strong time-management skills. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have an interest in AI, workforce transformation, public policy, or social impact. Have experience in one or more of the responsibilities listed (preferred but not required). What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience with a nonprofit at the intersection of AI, policy, and workforce innovation. Mentorship and networking opportunities with global experts in technology, policy, and economic transformation. The chance to contribute to solutions shaping the future of work. A letter of recommendation and potential academic credit (if applicable). The Future of Employment & Income Institute
