Warehouse Technician

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Warehouse Specialist, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Government Property Team. You will play a crucial role in supporting customer and mission partner logistics requirements related to the management and issuance of government property. Provide physical material movement support for government property from physical receipt to issuance. Processes inventory actions related to the program's government furnished inventory including, but not limited to, purchase requisition quoting, parts verification, barcode accuracy, count accuracy, and order fulfillment assistance. Provides resource support for the annual physical inventory process. Operate material handling equipment and adheres to all warehouse safety procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience: 1+ years of related experience
  • Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Security clearance level: Secret
  • US citizenship required
  • Interim Secret clearance or ability to obtain one

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $20.46 - $27.68. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
