Job Description

• The Wire EDM Operator will be responsible for programming, setting up, maintaining and running all wire EDM machines at our facility.
• Must be able to utilize measuring instruments such as micrometers, indicators, gage blocks, gage pins and optical measuring equipment.
• Must be a detailed oriented person and have a working knowledge of the electrical discharge process and proper machine process parameter settings.
• Complete understanding of blueprint reading is a must.
• Expert knowledge of EDM machining, milling, turning and grinding.
• Must be team oriented and work well with all employees to continuously improve quality and production.
• Willingness to work overtime and attend training classes as required.

• CAD experience preferably ProCad or Esprit
• 5 years programming experience is essential
• Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written and oral skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High School diploma or equivalent. 
• Previous work experience in a high volume, job shop, fast paced stamping house is essential.
• Experience in an ISO 9001-2015 work environment is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings is a pre-requisite.
