Join our team and see where the flight benefits can take you. Job Summary: The Fleet Manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the exciting day-to-day Bus Maintenance operation. Responsible for ensuring that all equipment and vehicles comply with industry regulations and standards. Eligible to receive annual performance bonuses as additional compensation Job Duties: · Build partnerships with customers and set the example for the delivery of exceptional customer service. · Review operational and financial reports to ensure the station is meeting goals and objectives and takes corrective action as required. · Participates in employee relations investigations when complaints arise and resolves issues in a professional and timely manner. · Recruits new employees to ensure appropriate staffing, promotes team-building initiatives and performs coaching and mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members. · Ensure that employees are properly trained and audit safety records as needed. · Sets, measures and manages the performance of self and others. Leads team members in achieving operational and financial objectives and goals. · Monitors and enforce safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, Unifi policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws. · Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity. · Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position. Minimum Qualifications: · High School diploma, GED or equivalent education. · Must be at least 18 years of age. · Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements. · Supervisory experience is required. · Good communication skills Preferred Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. · Four years of relevant work experience in Vehicle Mechanics · Maintenance Technology/Certifications: Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Experience • Overview of Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS) and asset codes • Certified Commercial Fleet manager (CCFM); Certified Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), Transit Bus Certification (H-Series) · Valid TN CDL A or B with a P endorsement Physical requirements: · Must be able to frequently push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, lift up to 70lbs and move up to 70lbs; and constantly walk, stand, handle, grasp and reach out. May have to reach above shoulder occasionally. Working conditions: · You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. We operate in a shift bid environment. · Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment. · Enjoy the outdoors on a daily basis (sun, rain, sleet or snow!) May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt and dust for extended periods.
