Title: Analytical Lab Technician

Location- Wilmington, DE

Duration : 6-12+ months (possible extension)

Shift-timings- 12pm-9pm

Pay Rate: $20-24/hr on w2 (without benefits)

Quality Lab Tech in Newport, Delaware for a global leader in instruments, services diagnostic and life science laboratories solutions. In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of functions that support the manufacturing process to ensure products meet specifications.

This is a second shift position.

As a Quality Lab Tech you will:

1. Perform quality control testing on a variety of in-process and finished products.
2. Maintain documentation and assisting in compliance with the Quality lab system.
3. Provide accurate and timely results of testing.
4. Use computers to record, document, report and communicate.
5. Conduct calibration and standardization of instruments as needed.
6. Executing common laboratory processes and procedures.
7. Assisting with the development of tests for new methods and procedures, as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 3 years relevant experience is preferred.
2. Working knowledge of manufacturing support functions including Quality Control is a plus.
3. Ability to effectively perform analytical test methods according to standard operating procedures.
4. Knowledge of common laboratory processes and procedures such as preparation of buffers and chemical standards along with good math skills.
5. Experience with HPLC, ChemStation software, and column loading is a plus.
6. Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate and cooperate in a team environment with an appreciation of the value of working in partnership with others to accomplish company goals that drive value creation.
