```Job Summary```
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and other small pets. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, and advising pet owners on proper animal care. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare and possess excellent communication skills.
```Duties```
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose illnesses and injuries
- Develop and implement treatment plans for sick or injured animals
- Perform surgeries, including but not limited to alteration procedures, Dental Surgery, and Growth Removals
- Administer vaccinations and medications to prevent and treat diseases
- Provide dental care, including teeth cleaning and extractions
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive healthcare measures
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education
```Qualifications```
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid state license to practice veterinary medicine
- Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and diseases
- Proficiency in performing various surgical procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with pet owners and staff members
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion while ensuring their safety
- Experience in veterinary critical care is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of practice management software is a plus
