We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Traveling Drywall Carpenter to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:  As a Traveling Drywall Carpenter at Revels Contracting, Inc., you will be responsible for traveling to various job sites to perform drywall installation, finishing, and repairs. This role requires a high level of skill, precision, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently in different environments. You will be a key part of our construction team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. ( Must live within 1 hour of the Gastonia, NC office.)

Key Responsibilities:

• This job requires 100% travel during the week. You would typically, but not always, be home on weekends.
• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications.
• Tape and finish drywall joints, corners, and seams.
• Perform repairs on damaged drywall surfaces.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Drywall Carpenter or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of drywall installation and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in different locations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must live within 1 hour of the Gastonia, NC office.
