For more information, visit Job Description: Azuria is seeking a motivated college student with a strong work ethic to join our summer internship program as a Financial Operations intern with our Finance and Operations teams, reporting directly to the Vice President, Group CFO. Throughout the program, interns will benefit from close mentorship and engaging hands-on activities, enabling them to obtain real-world experience and develop a solid foundation of the controller function Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis: Analyze the company's financial performance through preparation and review of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow. Communicate financial results to key stakeholders Understand main drivers of performance Budgeting and Forecasting: Supports the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts by working with stakeholders within the business and understanding project flows and timelines. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special finance projects and initiatives as needed, providing valuable contributions to the team. Attend and participate in branch meetings including staff meetings, MOR's, forecasts and other meetings as deemed necessary. Work with Ops, Finance and Sales to understand and analyze backlog, revenues and market trends. Requirements: Basic Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Completed basic/entry level Business Management and Financial Accounting courses Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Strong oral and written communication skills Basic understanding of accounting principles Ability to work in team environment Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught Ability to work with cross-functional business partners Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask Preferred Requirements: Preferred Junior or Senior level completion of program Currently pursuing a concentration in construction or related field Located near an Azuria operating location This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
