Here is what you will do:
The FPE will handle multiple projects at one time and the projects will vary in scope and type of project (office, residential, warehouse, industrial, etc.). Engineering and project management are the primary duties of this position. Daily tasks may include:
The Fire Protection Engineer will also participate in business development activities. These activities may include developing relationships with current and potential clients, being active in local organizations, and assisting in the overall growth efforts of the firm.
This is what you need to be successful:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering from an accredited school is required. Candidates must be licensed to practice engineering in the State of Texas or the ability to be licensed in the State of Texas. A minimum of five years of work experience in fire protection engineering is preferred.

For the FPE position, the compensation range is $85,000 - $175,000 and the actual compensation will be subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, and skillset.
