Job Title: Forklift/Heavy Machine Operator Location: Lockport, IL Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $20/hour


Summary We are seeking experienced forklift/heavy machine operators to join our team in Lockport. The main function of this role is to safely operate industrial trucks or machinery in a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar environment. Operators are responsible for moving product loads efficiently and accurately throughout the facility.


Key Responsibilities

• Review product loads for accuracy and ensure timely, complete delivery
• Operate reach trucks and stand-up forklifts safely and effectively
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment (cleaning, lubricating, fueling)
• Weigh materials or products and record production data on tags or labels
• Signal workers to discharge, dump, or level materials

Required Skills

• Ability to operate reach truck and stand-up forklifts
• Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control techniques

Education & Safety Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Steel toe shoes required
• Forklift operator's license required
• 8-10 years of manufacturing experience required
• Background and drug screen required

• Physical stamina to work in a warehouse/production environment
• Reliability and consistent attendance
