Core Responsibilities: Campaign Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategies to target specific audiences, considering factors like location, device, and demographics. Campaign Creation and Management: Set up and manage Google Ads campaigns, including search, display, and video campaigns. Keyword Research and Targeting: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords for targeting in ad campaigns. Ad Copy Development: Create compelling ad copy that attracts the target audience and encourages clicks, including engaging headlines and calls to action. Bidding and Budget Management: Manage bids and budgets effectively to optimize campaign performance and achieve desired advertising objectives. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS). Optimization and Testing: Continuously optimize campaigns by running tests, modifying bids, and adjusting targeting to improve performance and ROI. Reporting: Create periodic reports for clients and account managers. Staying Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in Google Ads and digital marketing. Collaboration: Work with other team members to ensure alignment and achieve overall marketing goals. Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience managing Google ads and/or PPC campaigns
  • 1-3 years of Client Relationship Management experience
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics and how to interpret it to optimize campaigns
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Clear and concise communicator

Strong verbal and written communications are a must, both for clearly articulating your goals to the client, as well as building trust and rapport and for writing successful copy for direct marketing campaigns. Self-management is key, knowing how to prioritize time and activities to get the most impact from the activities performed as well as follow-through, finishing that which is started will truly make the account manager successful in this position.
