Job Title: Polisher and Buffer
Job Description
Begin your career in metal finishing as a Polisher and Buffer. Employees start with grinding, using a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges and polish metal to a refined finish. You will receive cross-training in basic fabrication, including cutting metal to length using a tape measure, operating a brake press, spot welding, buffing, and racking for paint. There is also an opportunity to assist in other departments such as assembly, packaging, and paint.
Responsibilities
Enjoy benefits such as tuition reimbursement and opportunities for upward mobility, with potential promotions to lead or supervisor roles. You will receive a $0.50 raise after 90 days and another raise upon direct hire. Additionally, the opportunity to certify in welding at Anoka Tech is available.
Work Environment
Work in a large, fast-paced manufacturing facility that requires physical stamina and self-motivation. The environment is not temperature controlled, so it can become hot during the summer months. The campus is smoke-free.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.84 - $22.09/hr.
