Junior Recruiter

Location: Beer Barrel Inc. Corporate headquarters Columbus, OH

We're growing - and we're looking for a Junior Recruiter who's passionate about people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to help bring amazing talent into our restaurants and support teams.

What You'll Do

• Partnering with managers across our locations to understand staffing needs.
• Sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and community outreach.
• Screening applicants to find those who fit our culture of service and teamwork.
• Coordinating and supporting with interviews and hiring events, and ensuring a smooth hiring process for all involved.
• Keeping our applicant tracking system (ATS) organized and up to date.
• Helping with onboarding and making sure every new hire starts strong.
• Supporting HR with team member communications, employee file management, and policy updates.
• Assisting with coordinating employee recognition programs, engagement activities, and internal events.
• Representing Beer Barrel at job fairs and local hiring events.

Who You Are

• You have 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or a people-facing role - ideally in the restaurant, hospitality, or service industry.
• You're upbeat, organized, and love connecting with people.
• You can juggle multiple priorities and still keep the details straight.
• You're tech-savvy and comfortable with tools like Microsoft Office and ATS platforms.
• You bring positive energy and genuine enthusiasm to everything you do.
• You enjoy traveling to multiple units to support management teams with onsite interviewing and hiring.
• You enjoy connecting and relating yourself to your company's brand, mission, vision, values, and leadership principles.

Bonus Points For

• Experience recruiting hourly team members and restaurant managers.
• A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience using an ATS or HRIS system.

Work Environment & Reporting

• Full-time position based out of the corporate office in Columbus, OH.

• Reports to the Director of Business Support Services.

• Regular travel required to restaurant locations across Ohio and Indiana.
