Seeking a skilled Marketing Manager for a freelance position focused on overseeing and ensuring brand consistency across Chinese social media platforms and partnership initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Chinese culture and fluency in Mandarin, with the ability to read and write in the language. Familiarity with platforms such as Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, Redbook, and Youku is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure brand integrity across all marketing, advertising, and partnership communications.
• Act as the primary point of contact for brand standards, providing expertise and feedback on all internal, guest-facing, and third-party content related to a Beijing Resort destination.
• Review marketing materials, social media content, advertisements, and partnership proposals to ensure cultural relevance and compliance with global brand guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with licensing teams and external partners to support the successful implementation of marketing strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Marketing/Advertising, Legal, Theme Park/Live Entertainment Administration, Licensing, or a related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin (reading, writing, speaking) and strong knowledge of Chinese cultural norms.
• Demonstrated experience working with major Chinese social media platforms.
• Proven ability to provide strategic feedback on culturally relevant content.
• Flexible schedule with availability for late afternoon/evening meetings (Pacific Time).
• Strong organizational and communication skills; experience working with senior leadership is a plus.
