\n \n\n \n· Shift : Days; Mon-Fri with shifts starting anywhere between 6a-8a. Rotating call to involve nights and weekends.

\n \n\n \nThe role you will contribute:
\n \n\n \nPerforms Nuclear Medicine/PET/CT Imaging studies. Handles, administers, calculates dosage and prepares Radionuclide. Maintains records in accordance with departmental policy and procedures as well as within state requirements. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Responsibility to adhere to the AdventHealth compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.

\n \nThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
\n \n\n \nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
\n \n\n \n· Graduate of an A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B approved program
\n \n\n \n· Current State of Florida Department of Health Nuclear Medicine license.
\n \n\n \n· A.R.R.T or N.M.T.C.B. registration
\n \n\n \n· Must be able to move, operate and properly use all Nuclear Medicine equipment and camera's including computers, collimators, color printers, survey meters, dose calibrators, dose management computer system, Cerner HIS system and Agfa PACS system.
\n \n\n \n· Must be able to independently perform Nuclear Medicine procedures to Radiologists' and Cardiologists' standards.
\n \n\n \n· Must be able to use computer system for data entry and retrieval.
\n \n\n \n· Patient care and communication skills to deal with patients from infant through geriatric age groups.
\n \n\n \n· Basic clerical skills as needed for record keeping and documentation
\n \n\n \n· Mature judgment is frequently required in dealing with patients, public, physicians and co-workers.
\n \n\n \n· Must be able to adjust workload as needed due to emergency studies scheduled.
\n \n\n \n· Calm careful behavior is necessary when dealing with situations such as critically ill patients or in the event of a “code” or other emergency.
\n \n\n \n· Any significant change in patient condition required accurate judgment with appropriate actions.
\n \n\n \n· Must be able to act properly in case of a radioactive Material contamination, emergency or disaster.
\n \n\n \n· Technologist must be able to exercise independent judgment in assessment of exam quality, patient conditions and need for repeat images or variance from routine.
\n \n\n \n· Must be able to assess and maintain workflow in Nuclear Medicine.
\n \n\n \n· Must use proper judgment regarding need for communication regarding patient care, workflow or other issues
\n \n\n \n· Newly graduated technologist should be able to work unattended shift, with only occasional guidance needed within six months.
\n \n\n \n· Experienced technologist should be able to work independently in one month.
\n \n\n \nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
\n \n\n \n· Associate degree
