LHH is partnering with a growing manufacturing company located in San Diego with a family-oriented, relaxed atmosphere to hire a dedicated individual for a contract Senior Accountant role. This position offers a flexible schedule and a hybrid work environment, with only 1 to 2 days onsite per week.

 

Position Overview: The Part-Time Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting, including monthly close, preparing manual journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations, and working off a close checklist. The role also includes bank account reconciliations and assisting with analysis. The accountant will participate in special projects as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including monthly close processes.

• Prepare manual journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations.

• Work off a close checklist to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Perform bank account reconciliations.

• Assist with financial analysis and reporting.

• Participate in special projects as needed.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s.

• Experience with accounting software.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
