Job Title: Powder Coat Painter | 1st shift | $18-$25/hr | Canton, OH

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coat Painter to lead our team on the 1st shift (5:30 AM - 3:30 PM), working four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, with overtime on Fridays as needed. The position involves painting industrial equipment using spray systems and a powder coat line in Canton, OH.

Responsibilities

• Paint industrial equipment using spray systems and a powder coat line.
• Set up and clean spray guns.
• Understand and measure paint thickness (mills).
• Change wet tanks and feed hoppers.
• Perform color/powder changes and understand different paints such as enamel and acrylic.
• Maintain wash line.
• Prime parts before painting.
• Perform quality checks on finished products.

Essential Skills

• Industrial painting and powder coat experience.
• Proficiency with spray systems.
• Knowledge of paint pressures and mills.
• Experience with paint powder coat, acrylic, enamel, and other paints.
• Ability to set up and clean spray guns.
• Experience in paint preparation, spray painting, and sandblasting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Powder coating experience is a plus.
• Understanding of different paints such as enamel and acrylic.
• Experience with color/powder changes.
• Ability to maintain a wash line.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTH CANTON, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
