Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Principal Embedded Engineer Software – 15128 . This position will be located in Roy, Utah or Manhattan Beach, California and will support the Sentinel program. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Job Qualifications: You’ll Bring These Qualifications: Principal Embedded Engineer Software: 05 Years with Bachelor’s in STEM field of study, 03 Years with Masters, 01 Years with PhD. US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years. Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP). 4+ year experience in developing software/writing code in C/C++/C#, Python or similar programming language 4+ year experience in object-oriented programming and design patterns 2+ year experience in hardware/software communication interfaces, real-time and post processing data analytics Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering using Cameo Experience with IBM Rational tool suite (DOORS) Experience with Agile and working in a cross-function Scrum team and with Atlassian Tool Suite Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Able to assimilate information from multiple sources, create coherent plans and then execute those plans Experience with full life cycle of software development and Agile software development Ability to team plan, execute, and manage the technical scope, and support leadership planning. Experience in hardware/software communication interfaces, real-time and post processing data analytic #SentinelSoftware Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
