This Product Manager position will be accountable for understanding and implementing strategies to influence treatment in Immunology. In addition, you will be responsible for executing the strategies to include development and implementation of health care professional, market access and consumer marketing plans and initiatives in the marketplace to execute an integrated strategy. This position reports to the Immunology Business Unit Director and will serve as a core member of Immunology (Integrated Strategic Team).

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with market research to deepen key insights for the brand, market & current indications
  • Play a meaningful role partnering with cross functional partners including Medical Affairs, Strategy, Analytics & Transformation (StAT), Sales Leadership and SCG to develop plans and tactics for the business.
  • Partner with legal, medical, regulatory & HCC to support team in approval of marketing initiatives.
  • Lead development of short and long-term strategies to maximize the growth of the business across the Immunology specialties and across multiple channels.
  • Set clear strategy to optimize field execution and clarity.
  • Develop, retain and motivate direct reports in a fast-paced environment.
  • As part of the Business Plan process lead workshops with marketing team and extended IST using the Value Excellence Model and integrating the Culturally Inclusive and Relevant Marketing approach to brainstorm solutions and tactics, produce critical success factors and key tactics to achieve brand objectives and goals
  • Develop the brand tactical plans with Marketing Specialist and the IST core team based on current product market trends, competitive and access landscape.
  • Responsible for developing the marketing budget based on tactical plan to drive optimization of brand strategic investments.
  • Propose opportunities for additional potential investments for incremental sales based on market opportunities for the product portfolio.
  • Develop strong partnerships with external stakeholders including agency, congress leaders and associations to foster a collaborative and insight driven organization.
  • Track market trends and propose appropriate actions to increase brand competitiveness and growth.
  • Develop relationships with the US marketing brand team to ensure alignment in strategies, marketing plans and share best practices.
  • Observe all company policies, procedures, programs, systems, rules and regulations at all times of all compliance areas, including but not limited to Safety, Environmental, Quality, Records Management, Human Resources, Security and others; and encourage co-workers to do so.
  • Follows the Leadership Imperatives competencies based on their leadership level within the organization (Individual Leader)

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • B.A./B.S. required; MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of business experience required.
  • Demonstrated success in-line marketing is preferred.
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishments in pharmaceutical sales or marketing.
  • Solid understanding of the Healthcare environment and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with sales leadership and sales learning is required.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency and big picture orientation with attention to detail.
  • Sense of urgency required while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
  • The ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Strong organizational skills are required
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and operate with poise and professionalism in a complex, high-profile, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen.
  • Strong cross-functional teamwork, collaboration, proactivity, and communication skills required.
  • This position requires up to 25% of domestic travel.
