Job Description As a Security Concierge (SonyPlaystation) in Playa Vista, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk professional in a dynamic tech and media location, you serve as the first point of contact, welcoming guests and assisting employees with security‑related needs. What You'll Do Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, verifying identification, and managing access control at the front desk in a technology and media environment. Carry out security‑related procedures and follow site‑specific policies, including monitoring visitor logs and maintaining a professional presence at the front desk. Communicate promptly and clearly with clients, employees, and/or guests to address inquiries and provide information regarding the location's policies and procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and escalating issues as necessary. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to help deter unauthorized access and support the overall security‑related needs of the location. Assist with emergency response activities and other security‑related duties as assigned by Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements At least one year of security‑related experience is required. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
