Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 DOE

Summary:

The Therapist provides direct therapeutic services for clients enrolled in The Annexs PHP, IOP and OP programs, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote healing, recovery, and improved mental health outcomes. Therapists engage in individual, family, and group counseling; participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning; and provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed. This position reports directly to the Clinical Director.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Unless otherwise agreed upon, this position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may provide mentorship to interns or new staff under direction from the Clinical Director.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and create treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Maintain clinical documentation in EMR system.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams.
  • Maintain effective and continuity of care by collaborating with referents and external professionals through consistent, timely, confidential and high-quality communication that upholds The Annex's standard of excellence.
  • When clinically appropriate and with proper consent, communicate with family and loved ones following The Annexs communication protocols.
  • Conduct crisis interventions and develop safety plans.
  • Maintain licensure and attend professional development.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, etc.).
  • Strong clinical assessment, intervention, and documentation skills.
  • Crisis intervention proficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Cultural competence and client advocacy.
  • Proficiency in EMR use and clinical note writing.

Education/Experience:

  • Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Current Texas licensure (PhD, LPC, LMSW/LCSW, LMFT, or Associate).
  • 2+ years clinical experience preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification, TB clearance, and valid Texas Drivers License required.
