\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Up to 5 weekend shifts per schedule including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
\n• Holiday requirement if contract falls during holiday periods
\n• Patient ratios vary from 1:1, 1:2, to 1:3 in mixed ICU and stepdown unit
\n• Float within scope to meet facility needs
\n• 2 years of PICU experience required
\n• First time travelers accepted
\n• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
\n• SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required
\n• Required certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only)
\n• Epic charting system experience preferred
\n• Care for pediatric patients ages 0-18 with medical and surgical diagnoses
\n• Manage patients with respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative cases, and neurology/neurosurgery conditions
\n• Provide ventilatory and cardiac support, ECMO/CRRT, renal dialysis, and complex supportive therapies
\n• Work with interdisciplinary team including respiratory therapy, dietitians, and pharmacists
\n• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
\n• 12-hour orientation period required
\n• Must complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start
\n• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is a 28-bed unit providing intensive and intermediate care to children across the state. The facility serves as a quaternary referral center and Level I pediatric trauma center for the region, handling complex cases including cardiac overflow, respiratory, neurology, transplant, and trauma patients. The organization maintains high standards with Epic charting systems and comprehensive support services available around the clock.
