Carolinas Vein & Vascular Solutions is seeking a Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist to join our vascular-focused outpatient practice. This role will support both our Huntersville and Mooresville locations and is ideal for a skilled imaging professional with experience in vascular ultrasound, particularly carotid duplex studies.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Imaging & Diagnostic Services:Perform vascular ultrasound examinations, with a focus on carotid duplex imaging.Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation for physician interpretation.Maintain all ultrasound equipment in optimal working condition and troubleshoot as needed.Adhere to diagnostic protocols and maintain exam consistency across both clinic locations.Patient Interaction & Care:Provide a calm, supportive experience for patients during exams.Explain procedures clearly and professionally to ensure patient understanding and comfort.Monitor patients during imaging to ensure safety and respond to concerns as they arise.Collaboration & Workflow:Work closely with the physician and clinical staff to coordinate patient flow and imaging schedules.Support clinical documentation and post-imaging tasks to ensure continuity of care.Participate in quality assurance and ongoing training initiatives.Travel Between Clinics:Travel between Huntersville and Mooresville clinics as needed to meet scheduling demands.QualificationsEducation & Credentials:RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) strongly preferred.ARDMS certification or equivalent vascular credentials preferred.Experience:At least 1 year of experience performing vascular ultrasounds, particularly carotid studies.Prior experience in a clinic or outpatient vascular setting preferred.Skills and Competencies:Strong technical proficiency in vascular ultrasound techniques.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dual-location clinical environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Professional, patient-centered demeanor with attention to clinical detail.Familiarity with ultrasound imaging systems and medical documentation platforms.Compliance and Regulatory RequirementsHIPAA Compliance Ensure the secure handling and storage of patient data.OSHA Compliance Maintain a safe and sanitized imaging environment.North Carolina Regulations Adhere to all applicable state healthcare and imaging guidelines.Work EnvironmentThis is an in-office, clinical role requiring reliable transportation between our Huntersville and Mooresville locations. The work environment involves regular patient interaction and operation of diagnostic imaging equipment.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods and assist with clinical procedures.Ability to lift and move patients or equipment, up to 25 pounds, as needed.
